Dr. Golam Mustafa, MBBS, MRCS (UK), FCPS (Surgery), MS (Colorectal Surgery) is a highly qualified and experienced Colorectal Surgeon in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Colorectal Surgery at Dhaka Medical College.
Dr. Mustafa completed his MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College, Dhaka in 2004. After completing his internship, he joined Apollo Hospitals Dhaka as a Resident Medical Officer in 2006. Later, he worked as a Senior House Officer at United Hospital, Gulshan, before joining the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as an Assistant Surgeon in 2008.
He received extensive postgraduate surgical training from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital, and Sir Salimullah Medical College & Mitford Hospital. Dr. Mustafa achieved MRCS (UK) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2012. In 2013, he pursued the MS in Colorectal Surgery at BSMMU, and later completed FCPS (Surgery) from BCPS in 2016. He earned his Master’s Degree in Colorectal Surgery in 2017. Dr. Golam Mustafa has served as Surgical Registrar and is now Assistant Professor of Colorectal Surgery at Dhaka Medical College, recognized as one of the best piles and colorectal specialists in Bangladesh.
