Dr. Lalit Mohon Nath is an accomplished clinical diabetologist and clinical researcher with more than 23 years of specialized experience in diabetes care, highlighted by his longstanding tenure as Resident Physician at Sylhet Diabetic & General Hospital. He is an alumnus of Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College, where he completed his MBBS in 1996.
He completed extensive international training across leading institutions including the Diabetic Association of Bangladesh (BADAS), the International Diabetes Federation (USA), the International Diabetes Center (USA), the University of Newcastle (Australia), MDRF (Chennai), and Singapore under the Mayo Clinic (USA) curriculum.
Alongside his long-term role as a tutor for the Certificate Course in Diabetology (CCD), his clinical research and academic focus center on translational diabetology, real-world evidence in glycemic control, metabolic syndrome, and the prevention of long-term microvascular and macrovascular complications.
Currently, Dr. Nath provides comprehensive clinical consultations at Queen’s Hospital, Subidbazar, and Ideal Diagnostic Centre, Rikabibazar, Sylhet.
