Dr. Lt Col Md. Sharif Mahmud (Retd) is a General, Orthopaedic and Laparoscopic Surgeon with 30 years of experience in the field of Surgery. He completed his MBBS from Dhaka Medical College and received postgraduate surgical training including Graded Specialist in Surgery from AFMI and hands-on training in Laparoscopic Surgery from CMH Dhaka.
He served in the Bangladesh Army Medical Corps and worked as a Specialist in Surgery in different CMHs and UN Level 2 Hospitals in Liberia and Ivory Coast. He also worked as a visiting Lecturer and Consultant in Surgery in Liberia and as a visiting Lecturer in Surgery at Rangpur Army Medical College.
He is currently working as Deputy Director Medical Services at Ahsania Mission Cancer & General Hospital, Uttara, Dhaka.
