Dr. M. H. Pannu is an experienced Colorectal, Laparoscopic, and General Surgeon with more than 20 years of clinical experience in the diagnosis and surgical management of colorectal and general surgical conditions. He is dedicated to providing modern, evidence-based surgical care with a focus on accurate diagnosis, minimally invasive techniques, and improved patient outcomes.
Dr. Pannu completed his MBBS and joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (Health) before pursuing advanced surgical qualifications. He obtained FCPS in Surgery and subsequently completed his MS in Colorectal Surgery, developing specialized expertise in the management of diseases affecting the colon, rectum, anus, and gastrointestinal tract. He further enhanced his professional skills by completing FISCP in Colo-Proctology from India.
Currently, Dr. Pannu serves as an Assistant Professor of Colorectal Surgery at Jashore Medical College, Jashore, where he is involved in patient care, surgical education, academic activities, and the training of future surgeons.
His areas of expertise include the diagnosis and treatment of piles (hemorrhoids), anal fissure, fistula-in-ano, colorectal and anal diseases, colorectal cancer, rectal disorders, constipation-related surgical conditions, and other complex colorectal problems. He also specializes in laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery, as well as a broad range of general surgical procedures.
With more than two decades of professional experience, Dr. Pannu combines advanced surgical knowledge with a patient-centered approach.
