Dr. Mohammad Ashif Iqbal is a Respiratory Medicine Specialist with over 15 years of clinical experience. He is currently serving at the National Institute of Diseases of the Chest & Hospital (NIDCH), Dhaka. He completed his DTCD in Chest Diseases (Respiratory Medicine) from NIDCH, Dhaka, under Bangladesh Medical University (BMU).
He has extensive experience in respiratory and internal medicine and provides evidence-based, patient-centered care for various respiratory diseases including asthma, COPD, tuberculosis (TB), sleep-related breathing disorders, lung cancer, and allergy-related conditions.
He has special expertise in bronchoscopy, interventional pulmonary procedures, USG point-of-care assessment in chest diseases, and sleep medicine. Alongside clinical practice, he is involved in teaching, clinical research, pulmonary function testing, functional capacity assessment, and modern approaches in respiratory medicine.
