After completing 36 BCS his MBBS from Mymensingh Medical College (MMC), Dr. Muktar joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (Health) and completed his MS in Orthopedic Surgery from the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), popularly known as Pongu Hospital, Dhaka, one of the country's premier institutions for orthopedic and trauma care.
He currently serves as an Orthopedic Specialist and Trauma Surgeon at the 250-Bedded General Hospital, Thakurgaon, where he provides comprehensive treatment for a wide range of orthopedic conditions and traumatic injuries.
Dr. Muktar has extensive experience in the management of bone fractures, traumatic injuries, arthritis, sports injuries, back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, hip pain, joint disorders, ligament and tendon injuries, spinal conditions, paralysis-related orthopedic complications, and musculoskeletal trauma. He is also skilled in performing modern orthopedic surgical procedures, fracture fixation, joint reconstruction, and trauma surgery.
