Dr. Rumana Afroz Majumder is an experienced and compassionate Clinical & Radiation Oncologist with over 21 years of medical practice and more than 13 years of dedicated experience in cancer care. She completed her MBBS from Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College in 2003 and began her medical career in the Department of Medicine at Bangladesh Medical College Hospital in 2005. She later earned her MPhil in Clinical Oncology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
From 2018 to 2023, she served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Oncology at Bangladesh Medical College Hospital. In 2023, she joined Labaid Cancer Hospital & Super Speciality Centre as an Associate Consultant in the Department of Radiation Oncology and currently serves as a Consultant.
Dr. Majumder has Extensive expertise in medical oncology ( Chemotherapy ) and External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT), Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Brachytherapy, and multidisciplinary cancer treatment planning. She has also served as a Brachytherapy Coordinator and has received advanced national and international training in modern radiation oncology and cancer chemotherapy.

Her principal clinical interests include breast cancer, gynecological cancers, head and neck cancers, gastrointestinal cancers, precision radiation therapy, and palliative cancer care.
