Dr. Sohel Siddike is a Clinical and Interventional Cardiologist and Heart Disease and Medicine Specialist. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiology at Chattogram Medical College Hospital. He has 10 years of professional experience.
He completed his MBBS from Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College in 2008 and joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (Health Cadre) in 2014. He subsequently obtained his MD in Cardiology from the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Dhaka, in 2020. He also holds the professional fellowships FESC, FAPSIC and FSCAI (USA).
Dr. Siddike has performed more than 1,000 coronary angiography and angioplasty procedures at Metropolitan Hospital Limited. His areas of expertise include coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty, radial intervention, primary PTCA, permanent pacemaker implantation, peripheral angiography and angioplasty, and renal angiography. He also has specialized experience in Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT) and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) implantation.
He has undertaken advanced training in interventional cardiology in India, the Netherlands, Belgium, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and Hong Kong. He is a lifetime member of the Bangladesh Cardiac Society and the Bangladesh Society of Cardiac Intervention.
He provides consultations at Metropolitan Hospital Limited, O.R. Nizam Road, Chattogram.
