Dr. Syed Md. Fazla Munim (Sahal) is a dedicated Paediatrician with over 14 years of clinical experience in providing comprehensive healthcare for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. He is committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate, and family-centered pediatric care, ensuring the healthy growth and development of every child.
He currently serves as a Registrar in the Department of Paediatrics at Ahsania Mission Medical College, where he is actively involved in clinical patient care, medical education, and academic activities. Prior to his current appointment, he served for eight years at Shaheed Monsur Ali Medical College, gaining extensive experience in managing a broad spectrum of pediatric and neonatal conditions.
Dr. Munim earned his MBBS degree and has further advanced his professional qualifications through MRCPCH (UK) Part II, along with ENS, IPPN, and MCGP certifications, reflecting his dedication to continuous medical education and international standards of pediatric practice.
His areas of special interest include newborn care, childhood infections, fever, respiratory diseases, asthma, allergies, gastrointestinal disorders, nutritional deficiencies, growth and developmental assessment, vaccination, preventive child healthcare, and the diagnosis and management of both acute and chronic pediatric illnesses.
