Professor Dr. Md. Azizul Islam Khan completed his MBBS from Mymensingh Medical College Hospital in 1995. He joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) as a member of the 17th BCS cadre. He subsequently completed his FCPS in Surgery from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) in 2005 and his MS in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery from Bangladesh Medical University (former - BSMMU) in 2006.
